Our shortest trip on the scenic Jackson River. A great option when you are short on time or are uncertain about doing an all-day activity.

From check-in to check-out, your child will stay active and engaged in learning while enjoying a variety of outdoor activities (see itinerary). Campers will be led and guided by experienced outdoor veterans.

Looking for a relaxing ride on the Jackson River? River tubing is a great way to get outdoors, see the scenery, and splash around, letting the river move you along.  This trip requires you walk your tube about 1500 feet up a bike trail that allows you to float back over a 2.25 mile bend in the river back to our shop where your car is parked.

This is our longest paddle trip along the Jackson River, with stunning views and crystal clear water. The many Class I/II rapids make this section fun and exciting, but easy for beginners to paddle.

Come enjoy a peaceful two-hour float down the stunning Jackson River, followed by a serene riverside meditative sound bath.

Combine our best two activities for a full day enjoying the scenic Jackson River. Start on the bike trail and end by kayaking the river with Class I/II rapids.

Start with a 9 AM shuttle to the Cedar Creek Trailhead and ride back 16 miles on the beautiful Jackson River Scenic Trail.  Once finished with the ride you will have a choice of two kayak trips from 4 to 7.5 miles.

Combine two great activities for an exciting day! Join us for a bike ride in the morning and a gentle tubing trip after lunch along the Jackson River.

What could be better after a relaxing float on the river than enjoying a delicious, ready-made meal? Throughout the season, we’ll be hosting a variety of local chefs on our beautiful five-acre riverfront property and spacious back deck.

Help us keep the Jackson River clean and free of trash and litter. Join us for our annual river cleanup event and join our staff on river-cleaning day.

Volunteer to help keep the Jackson River Scenic Bike Trail clean and enjoyable for all users. Spend a morning with us to walk the entire trail picking up trash.

You can rent a bike and take a shuttle, or bring your own bike for a shuttle ride to the Cedar Creek Trailhead, where you can enjoy a 16-mile rail-to-trail bike adventure.

Book paddleboards, kayaks and canoes to enjoy a full day of camping at the Lake Moomaw.

The rental of the deck with seating for 28 people, additional fold out tables and chairs, and the spacious deck with a grill overlooking 5 riverfront acres sounds like a perfect setting for a gathering.

Discover our premier biking experience. Rent an Electric bicycle and explore 16 miles of the Jackson River Scenic Bike Trail. Begin your journey at our Intervale Outfitter location, which offers direct access to the trail at mile marker 0. Cycle to your heart’s content, then simply turn back and return the bike to our shop. Ask about the many dining options along the trail and those that deliver for you to enjoy on our on our spacious back deck or along the 5 acres of riverfront property.
