The Jackson River Scenic Trail
Ride the one-of-a-kind Jackson River Scenic Trail. This trail is converted from an old railroad bed, and its gentle 1 percent grade on fine-packed gravel makes it great for bikers of all ages to ride. The Jackson River winds along the majority of the trail, offering you the most amazing views. Bring a picnic and make a day of it! To enjoy this activity, you must be physically able and know how to safely ride a bike.
We offer bike rentals and shuttle services so you can enjoy the trail. You can depart from our Intervale Outfitter location with direct access to the bike trail, or you can take a shuttle to the Natural Well trailhead and ride one-way back to our shop. Shuttle services are available even if you’re using your own bike!
Your rental includes three hours; each additional hour is $5. All bikes must be returned by 4:45 p.m. each day.
